Abstract

This research is done in order to find out the influence between folk tale and communication ability to the story telling ability of 2nd grade student in Bekasi. Based on the analysis of data,thus it can be concluded that (1) story telling ability student that is given modern fantasy tale is higher than story telling ability that is given traditional folk tale, (2) there is interaction between folk tale with communication ability through story telling ability 2nd grade students, (3) story telling ability student that have higher communication and given modern fantasy tale is higher than a group of student that is given traditional folk tale, (4) story telling ability student that have lower communication and given modern fantasi tale is same with a group of student that is given traditional folk tale. From some of the research findings implies (1) efforts of teachers in determining the method of developing the ability to tell the studentsin 2nd grade, (2) selection of tales for students which is suitable for their age and mail stone, (3) folk tales interaction and communication ability through story telling ability 2nd grade students.Keywords: tale’s communication skills, ability to tell

Abstract

This study aims to determine the childs listening skills and learn the story model of learning listening skills animated childrens story through audio visual media in third grade primary school students of Islam at Taqwa, Rawamangun. This research method in the form of a qualitative case study approach.This study found in a personal voice teachers in the classroom is small, too fast to read the story, is not appropriate intonation, facial expressions do not fit with the story, do not pay attention to student responses. In addition, the lack of learning can also be seen from the environment such as the students sit too far away from the teacher, no media / visual aids, and students are not cooperative learning strengths while listening to stories of children who carried out the teacher can be seen from the preparation of teachers teaching has prepared the administrative preparations, the stages are done listening to the teacher is like a stage to hear, understand, interpret, evaluate, and respond has been done well, as well as other advantages of these teachers have done an evaluation at the end of the learning process.Keywords: audi animated visual media, children listen to stories

Abstract

This research aim to know about difficulties of the mild mentally impaired children in reading and the causes of reading difficulties. This research design is descriptive and qualitative case study. Based on data analysis result, research outcome shows that: (1) Difficulties of reading in a mentally mild impaired child include: Difficulties of pronouncement, fluency (repetitiveness), perception, concentration, concern, recollection, differentiation of recollecting word having been read and word or not yet having been read, differentiation of recollecting line having been read or not yet having been read, understanding, motorics (2) Causes of the reading difficulties in a mentally mild impaired child include a) physical causes: malfunction or anomaly of speech device, motoric obstacle. b). auses of Mentality and Psychology : inaccurateness if perception, inability for concentration, his or her recollection is less, differentiation in recollecting word having been read and word not yet having been read is vague, differentiation in recollecting the line having been read and not yet having been read is vague, emotional impediment, low intelligence.Keywords: teaching reading, early childhood, mild mentally impaired

Abstract

The aim of this research are to know the reading learning process through Big Book and are there any increase of grade B Kindergarten student capability of early reading after giving reading activities through Big Book. 14 student of grade B at Prima School Kindergarten Bekasi are the subject of this research.This research used action research method according to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart that consist of four step: a) plan, b) action, c) observation, d) reflection. The data was collected by field notes, interview, documentation and observation. The data was analyzed by qualitative and quantitative method. The result of research shows that the reading through Big Book could increase early reading capability of grade B kindergarten student. Whereas the learning process through Big Book consist of prereading, reading and after reading.Keywords: capability of early reading, big book

Abstract

The objectives of this study was to find out suitable learning approach in order to increase learning mathematics achievement. This study was an experimental, consists of a dependent variable, it is mathematics learning achievement and a independent variables, it is are learning approach. The treatment applied were thematic learning approach and subject approach. Abstract

This study aims to determine the increased of children creativity of drawing and playing with clay through learning model of Beyond Centers and Circle Time. The study involved seventeen children of kindergarten group B in the ECE Learning Center of Yarsi, Jakarta. Research carried out by using the method of action research spiral cycle model developed by Kemmis & Mc. Taggart and successfully completed in three cycles. Quantitative data collected through the performence of early assessment and assessment of each the end of the cycles of action. Quantitative data on the childs creativity score improvement was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results show that: (1) the creativity of drawing between cycles has increased, which is an average score on the pre-action x1=49,84), the end of the first cycle x2=53,29), the end of the second cycle x3=55,12), and post-action x4=57,00); and (2) the creativity of playing with clay between cycles increased, which is an average score on the pre-action x5=39,69), the end of the first cycle x6=43,56), the end of the second cycle x7=45,41), and post-action  x8=46,20).Keywords: creativity, kindergarten, beyond centers and circle time

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of attachment between parents and children with self-regulation by social relationships in early childhood grade III Elementary School, Village Elementary School in Pondok Bambu, East Jakarta, in 2011. This study uses quantitative methods to the correlational approach. The study population is a third-grade students. Study sample of 56 students chosen at random sampling. The data was collected using a questionnaire-shaped instrument. The results showed that the viscosity (X1) and self-regulation (X2), either individually or jointly have a positive relationship with social skills (Y). The conclusion of this study is that the attachment between parent and child self-regulation, made a significant contribution to social relations. The study provides recommendations to the parents to establish attachment to the child so as to present themselves before the child as someone who can be imitated in an attempt to develop self-regulation skills that eventually the child can adjust to the rules and norms that apply generally, so as to establish social relationships fine.Keywords: Attachment, Self regulation, Social relationships

Abstract

This objective of research is to study improving visual art through drawing activities. The reserach was conducted at TKIT Al Fattah Depok, at the Second Semester in Academic Year 2011/2012. This research used the Action Research method, which applied Kemmis Taggart models. The analysing qualitative data was an inductive process, involving the reduction of information that has been collected by organizing it into important themes and components. The analysing quantitative data was descriptive statistic to measure of same group of drawing score. The research findings are follow: (1) there is difference between pre and post assesment of drawing, (2) visual art through drawing activites who have students improve hidden potential example emotional development as think flexible; cognitive developmental as recall variation descrimination object; physical development as well coordination visual and motoric; perceptual development as different about shape, size, colour; social development as to communicate visual ideas and self identity; asesthethic development as self maturity to self expression; and creativity development as a self uniqe on four dimensions are fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration.Keywords: visual art, drawing

Abstract

Professional capability of Early Childhood Teacher Education (early childhood) is achieved through applied contextual of academic competence in authentic situations in early childhood units commonly referred to Practice Field Experience (PPL), where one of the tasks performed by the teacher is managing the early childhood learning.To measure the ability of a prospective teacher professional Early Childhood Education (early childhood) in managing the learning will require assessment. This assessment determines the success of professional competence of a prospective teacher. Therefore, the required quality assessment tools, comprehensive and objective look at a persons success as well as feedback to the student or prospective teachers. PPL assessment is not only limited to assessing the ability to manage learning (teaching) students in authentic contexts, but also assess the ability of other aspects related to professional competence of a prospective teacher.Keywords: assessment, learning, early childhood, ppl
